Born in Italy, I began my professional career with special effects, theater and cinema, working at CINECITTÀ as a makeup artist and wig technician, and then went on to work for theater “La Scala” in Milan.

After an initial experience with artistic makeup, I taught photographic makeup at the BCM European Academy in Milan and continued as a free lancer make-up artist for photographic studios and fashion agencies in Milan and Rome.

My passion for teaching and cosmetics brought me in the world of luxury perfumery, working as a Trainer & makeup artist for luxury cosmetics brands such as Dolce&Gabbana, Shiseido, Fendi and Collistar. In 2010, I became Trainer Coordinator & National Make up artist for Givenchy & Kenzo.

I was the makeup artist in several episodes of the Italian TV show "Che trucco!” on La 5, where I had to create a makeup tailored on the needs of  each guest, applying it only on half of their faces, while illustrating all the steps they had to do to complete the makeup on the other half.

I moved to Madison, WI in 2019, and I keep working as a professional makeup artist in collaboration with Makeup by Francesca.
